Jeff Trammell is chief operations officer at Merchants & Marine Bank (MMB) and its holding company, Merchants & Marine Bancorp, Inc. Mr. Trammell joined the organization’s executive leadership team in 2019 as its chief risk & strategy officer. Mr. Trammell is a capable, driven and energetic leader, guiding the operational (loans, deposits, and informational technology) and credit functions as well as the project management and data analytics departments. He leads the cannabis banking efforts, helping it at its initial formation and as director of CannaFirst Financial.

Prior to joining the bank, Mr. Trammell worked as a supervisory examiner at the Mississippi Department of Banking and Consumer Finance.
