Recent events have once again brought issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion to the forefront of discussions in corporate boardrooms. Increasing focus by institutional investors, stock exchanges and community stakeholders reflect the growing importance of these issues across the world. While Diligent research shows diversity at the highest levels of organizations is a priority, few have moved beyond good intentions to effect meaningful and lasting changes. This session will examine the state of boardroom diversity, the barriers to refreshment and recruiting more effectively, and the responsibility of leaders to do more to accelerate change.
