How can I attend the Advanced Director Certification Program?
Candidates must first complete an application on BankDirector.com to enroll in the Advanced Director Certification Program. Once accepted, participants can attend the Advanced Certification Program.
How do I become certified?
To receive certification after being accepted into the Advanced Director Certification Program, participants must attend the Advanced Certification Program on Sunday, September 15, and designated sessions at Bank Director’s Bank Board Training Forum on September 16 and 17. Both the Advanced Certification Program and the Bank Board Training Forum are held in Nashville, TN.
Why should I attend the Advanced Director Certification Program?
Attending the Advanced Certification Program and receiving certification through Bank Director’s Advanced Director Certification Program sends a clear message to investors, and state and federal regulators that participants take their fiduciary duties seriously and want to be top performers on their bank’s board.
Is the Advanced Director Certification Program part of the 2024 Bank Board Training Forum?
The Bank Board Training Forum and the Advanced Certification Program are separate events. However, participants enrolled in the Advanced Director Certification Program are required to attend both. How much does the Advanced Director Certification Program cost and what does the fee cover?
Those wanting to attend the Advanced Certification Program must first be enrolled in the Advanced Director Certification Program. The registration cost for the Program is included in the Advanced Director Certification Program fee of $3,000 per person for Bank Services Members and $4,500 per person for non-members. This fee also includes program materials, exclusive Bank Director resources and registration for the Bank Board Training Forum. *The program fee does not include travel or hotel accommodations.
Can I receive a certificate of attendance?
You may receive a certificate of participation in the Program, however, to become Bank Director Certified, you must also attend designated sessions from the Bank Board Training Forum. After completing these requirements you will receive an official Certification Certificate in the mail.
