Like most companies, Bank Director tracks the COVID-19 situation in a number of ways; for instance, keeping up-to-date with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), local health authorities and federal agencies.
We want to give you the utmost assurance that all measures are in place for our Bank Audit & Risk Committees Conference to ensure the safety and well-being of all of our participants. We are proceeding with that event on June 8-10 at the Swissotel in Chicago, and look forward to hosting everyone.
We Are Working Closely With the Swissotel
We are working closely with our partners at the Swissotel in Chicago monitoring the COVID-19 situation and following guidance issued by the World Health Organization (WHO), U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and local authorities. While there have been no travel restrictions or local ordinances indicating imminent risk in Chicago, the hotel remains vigilant in utilizing appropriate precautionary measures.
The hotel has increased the frequency of cleaning high touch point areas such as elevator buttons, doorknobs, public areas and implementing deep-clean guest room procedures while also increasing the number and availability of hand sanitizer stations.
As this situation evolves, the Swissotell will continue to follow recommended measures by health authorities and make operational changes and consider additional precautionary measures, as necessary.
In addition, to protect the health and safety of the overall community, there will be no attendees from outside of the U.S. permitted to register. We can, however, provide content through our On Demand portal on BankDirector.com.
