Bank Director’s 2023 Compensation Survey, sponsored by Chartwell Partners, annually benchmarks CEO pay and compensation for independent directors and non-executive chairs of bank boards. This year, the survey also examines succession planning and broader talent trends. Conducted in March and April of 2023, the annual survey gathered responses from 289 independent directors, CEOs, human resources officers and other executives of U.S. banks below $100 billion in assets.
