Prior to MANTL, Mr. Carlson worked with community financial institutions for more than 15 years to develop and implement scalable growth strategies.  He has presented at numerous conferences on topics such as new customer acquisition strategies, sales and marketing initiatives, revenue growth, strategic planning and team development.

Aaron Donaldson is the principal of technology and management consulting at RSM US LLP, focusing on technology and management consulting.  In addition, Mr. Donaldson is an enterprise account leader, bringing resources from across the firm and from any discipline to serve the needs of our clients.  Mr. Donaldson works extensively with clients needing real-world advice and assistance regarding their business needs, security requirements and organizational constraints, and he excels in finding a way to ensure success.  With a strong background in financial institution operations, technology and risk management, and digital transformation, Mr. Donaldson brings a fresh, often creative approach to complex challenges across industries and disciplines.

Stan Orszula is a partner at Barack Ferrazzano Kirschbaum & Nagelberg LLP. He has extensive experience providing strategic counsel to banks on banking-as-a-service (BaaS), compliance and regulatory issues, cryptocurrency and digital assets, general banking corporate matters, lending issues, distressed loans and assets, failed bank receiverships and fintech agreements and partnerships. His background includes experience as a counsel with the FDIC, sitting on the board of a financial institution and representing banks in private practice for over 15 years. Banks rely on his unique perspective to navigate today’s complex regulatory environment and in implementing new technology, products and services.

Laura Schield is the Chief Operating Officer & President of Bank Director and FinXTech, and has served in numerous roles with the company since her start in 2010. Her primary focus is overseeing the day-to-day operational functions of the company. She is responsible for leading the planning and production of conferences and events, handling all aspects of human resources and managing the teams responsible for data, circulation, accounting and finance. She also integrates and implements new projects as the company continues to grow. Laura is a member of Bank Director’s board of directors and serves on the Executive Committee.
