Greg Swanson is managing director at Pearl Meyer, and is a member of the firm’s national banking practice. Mr. Swanson has more than 20 years’ experience consulting with public and private companies on all aspects of executive and board compensation, including governance, education, compliance, communication, philosophy, design, monitoring, benchmarking, succession planning, employment agreements and more. The majority of his work in recent years has been focused on executive and director compensation issues affecting community and regional banks. Mr. Swanson is a frequent speaker at banking association conferences and is a regular author on board and executive pay topics.

Prior to joining Pearl Meyer, Mr. Swanson was the founder and managing member of Swanson Advisory Services, LLC, an independent compensation consulting firm focused exclusively on serving the needs of community and regional financial institutions. Mr. Swanson merged his practice into Pearl Meyer when he joined the firm in April 2012.

Rachel Turitto is senior vice president & CHRO at First Interstate Bank. Ms. Turitto has played a pivotal role in developing human capital strategies for First Interstate’s last five bank acquisitions, including staffing, compensation, and retention strategies, talent pipeline and succession planning and employee onboarding.

Ms. Turitto served as the bank’s director of human resources. She brings over 15 years of diverse experience across multiple human resource disciplines including compensation, benefits, employee and cultural engagement, leadership and development, employee relations, HRIS, payroll, diversity, equity, and inclusion and talent acquisition. An active community advocate, Ms. Turitto serves as a board member of the Associated Employers Group, advisor on the Billings Chamber of Commerce DEI committee and enjoys volunteering with the Yellowstone County 4-H.

Dan Wetzel is a managing director at Pearl Meyer. With over 30 years of experience in the field of compensation and benefits, Mr. Wetzel assists clients in the areas of executive and non-employee director compensation and employee pay, focusing on the development of annual and long-term incentive compensation programs to meet clients’ strategic objectives. He provides consultation in the areas of employment contracts and change of control provisions, mergers and acquisitions, expert testimony, reasonableness of compensation, salary administration, performance management and employee and executive benefits. Mr. Wetzel’s client engagements cover a variety of industries and company organizational and developmental stages, including startup/pre-IPO, privately-held, public, subsidiary, foreign-owned and non-profit organizations.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Wetzel was Watson Wyatt Worldwide’s Southern California practice leader for executive and incentive pay. He is a frequently published author of articles on compensation topics and a sought-after speaker for numerous industry meetings.
