CFPB Scraps Small Business Data Collection Rule
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has scrapped a small business data collection rule just months before it was to take effect, setting itself up to rescind the current version and reissue a new rule. In a press release issued April 30, the CFPB said that it “will not prioritize enforcement or supervision actions” related to the rule.
