Jeff Rose has earned a reputation for leading banks out of trouble. In his first gig as a bank CEO, he recapitalized West Des Moines, Iowa-based First Bank, which struggled under the weight of problem loans in 2009. More recently, he was brought in to turn around American Bank & Trust Co., the $520 million subsidiary of Davenport, Iowa-based Ambank Holdings, where he’s served as CEO since April 2016.
