Why should I attend the 2022 Bank Board Training Forum?
Whether you serve on one board committee or multiple committees, this program is designed for all bank directors and those in senior management who regularly interact with the board. The Bank Board Training Forum brings together unparalleled insight from leading experts in compensation, risk management, corporate governance, regulation and strategic planning to provide attendees with both the foundational knowledge and the latest information on best practices in all of the critical areas that a bank director must understand.

In addition, Bank Director includes exclusive CEO, chair of the board and Lead Director Peer Exchanges allowing opportunities for a bank’s senior most leaders to meet in closed-door, off-the-record peer groups to discuss challenges and issues facing banks today.

How much does this conference cost and what does the fee cover?
The standard individual registration rate is $2,095; however, attendees should contact our conference department at 877-397-7595 or [email protected] for special early and group rates. This fee includes all conference activities, materials and meals at the event site. This price does not include travel or hotel accommodations.

What if I need to cancel my reservation at the conference?
Due to commitments and expenses, all cancellations after August 2, 2022 will be subject to a $225 processing fee. We regret that no refunds will be given after August 31, 2022; however, substitute participants are welcomed. DirectorCorps, Inc. assumes no liability for any nonrefundable travel, hotel or related expenses incurred by registrants.

Can I bring a guest?
Yes, we do have a guest program. The guest rate of $150 covers breakfast on Monday and Tuesday, as well as all evening receptions. Guests are not allowed to attend sessions. If a guest would like to attend the sessions, please register them as an attendee. A guest is a spouse, significant other or friend who is not in a financial services occupation. A co-worker (even a spouse co-worker) or an associate within the financial services industry is not considered a guest and should register as an attendee.

Can I receive a certificate of attendance?
Active participation in director education sends a strong signal to the regulators that your board has the knowledge to exceed governance expectations. Concluding the event, participants of this year’s Forum will receive an attendance certificate demonstrating their continued focus on board education.

Is CLE and/or CPE credit available for this conference?
CLE: State CLE Accreditation for each conference is based on individual attendee requests. Credit hours may vary by state. Credit hours are not guaranteed. All CLE requests must be received prior to the event.

Many states have minimum deadlines for applications or credits may be denied, so requests should be submitted to us in a timely manner. Requests received at or following the event for states not previously submitted for credit may not be processed. You may, however, be eligible for credit hours by applying to your state on an individual basis where applicable, in which case Bank Director will provide you with any necessary supporting documentation. CPE: DirectorCorps, Inc., the parent company of Bank Director, is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.

Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.learningmarket.org. Visit their information page for CPE learning objectives, program levels, prerequisites, recommended credits and complaint resolutions.

All of Bank Director’s education programs are classified as “Basic” program level with no pre-requisites or advance preparation required for participation in these events. All events fall under “Group-Live” delivery method. At the event, attendees will be required to keep a timesheet and attendance at sessions will be monitored in order for attendees to receive the appropriate number of credits and a certificate of completion following the event.
