From Outsider to Insider: What I’ve Learned as a Bank Director

As an attorney, I’ve advised bank boards for more than 35 years. But when I joined a bank board seven years ago, I realized I was embarking on a journey of discovery of actually being a director. The timing was good when I joined the board of ten-year-old Hyperion Bank in 2018. I was late in my career as a corporate and banking lawyer.
