A Second Act for Richard Davis

Richard Davis retired in April 2018 as executive chairman of U.S. Bancorp, closing out a brilliant career which started in college when he worked as a bank teller while earning his bachelor’s degree in economics from California State University in Fullerton. Davis became CEO at U.S. Bancorp in 2006 when he was just 48. In this inaugural edition of the Slant Podcast, Davis talks about his career in banking, his decision to leave U.S. Bancorp at the age of 60, and his new role at Make-A-Wish and the personal journey that took him there.
