James Beckwith is the president and CEO at Five Star Bank.  He is also a member of the board.  Mr. Beckwith joined Five Star Bank in 2003.  He is deeply connected to the Sacramento community and has chaired several community-based organizations including the Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce, Valley Vision and KVIE (the local PBS affiliate). 

Mr. Beckwith is a past chair of the California Bankers Association.  He is a private sector director with Greater Sacramento Economic Council and a member of the Sacramento State University College of Business advisory council.  Mr. Beckwith previously served as CFO and COO at National Bank of the Redwoods in Santa Rosa, California. 

In 2020, Mr. Beckwith was recognized by the Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce as the Businessman of the Year and was named among the Most Admired CEOs of 2020 by the Sacramento Business Journal.  He was also recognized with a Vistage Leadership Award in 2021 and is the 2022 UCP Humanitarian of the Year.

Corey Chambas is the CEO at First Business Financial Services, Inc.  He is also a parent company board member and First Business Bank board member at First Business Financial Services, Inc. the parent company of First Business Bank.  Mr. Chambas has worked in the commercial banking industry for over 35 years, specializing in commercial lending and cash management. 

Mr. Chambas serves as advisory board member of the Aldine Capital Fund, L.P., and as advisor to the board of M3 Insurance Solutions, Inc., after serving on the M3 board for 18 years, including 9 years as chairman.

Skip Hageboeck is the president and CEO of City National Bank and City Holding Company.  Since 2005, City has completed 7 bank acquisitions, has grown to $6 billion in assets and operates 97 branches in West Virginia, Kentucky, Virginia and Ohio.  

Mr. Hageboeck joined City in 2001 as CFO to complete a turnaround. In 2018, Mr. Hageboeck and his predecessor at City – Jerry Francis (in 2002), were both named as Community Banker of the Year by the American Banker.  

Prior to joining City, Mr. Hageboeck was CFO at Peoples Bank of Indianapolis (PPLS) which sold in 1999 to Fifth Third for 4.2x book value.

Kara Baldwin is a partner at Crowe LLP and currently leads the financial services audit practice.  She has more than 20 years of experience serving financial institutions.  Ms. Baldwin works with publicly held banks, private banks and bank holding companies ranging in size from $50 million to nearly $20 billion in assets.  She has assisted clients in executing numerous business combinations over the years, with a focus on the accounting, auditing and reporting of these transactions including SEC reporting requirements.  Ms. Baldwin serves on various committees of the Center for Audit Quality, is active in the accounting advisory group at Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and is a frequent speaker with the Indiana Bankers Association.
