Dan Flaherty is managing director at Janney Montgomery Scott LLC. He joined Janney in June 2019 as part of Janney’s acquisition of FIG Partners and has 15+ years of advisory experience in the community banking industry. At FIG Partners, Mr. Flaherty helped the company expand throughout the East Coast region and became one of the eleven partners in 2017. Prior to joining FIG Partners, Mr. Flaherty worked at The Carson Medlin Company (Tampa, FL), providing investment banking services to community financial institutions. Mr. Flaherty’s experience includes advising community banks on strategic options, capital planning, sell-side mergers, buy-side mergers and capital raising. Mr. Flaherty holds the Series 7, 24, 63 & 79 FINRA licenses.

Eve Rogers is a partner at Crowe LLP. She is in charge of the Atlanta audit practice with over 25 years of financial services experience, serving clients ranging in size from $300 million to $20 billion in assets. Her experience includes financial statement audit, internal controls over financial reporting, fraud investigation, consulting on allowance methodologies and the implementation of various accounting standards, consulting on bank acquisitions, and initial public offerings.
Ms. Rogers is a frequent speaker for S&P Global Market Intelligence, Moody’s Analytics, Bank Director, various state banking and CPA associations, Crowe’s internal and external training programs, and facilitates bank CFO peer group meetings on a quarterly basis.
Ms. Rogers serves as department chair of people leadership within Crowe University, co-chair of audit’s client experience strategic council and executive sponsor of the firm’s Asian business resource group. She is a member of the AICPA and Georgia State Society of CPA’s.

Emily McCormick is Vice President of Editorial & Research for Bank Director. Emily oversees research projects, from in-depth reports to Bank Director’s annual surveys on M&A, risk, compensation, governance and technology. She also manages content for the Bank Services Program, including Bank Director’s Online Training Series. In addition to speaking and moderating discussions at Bank Director’s in-person and virtual events, Emily writes and edits for Bank Director magazine, BankDirector.com and Bank Director’s weekly newsletter, The Slant. She started her career in the circulation department at the Knoxville News-Sentinel and graduated summa cum laude from The University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and International Business.
