Tom Broughton is president and CEO of ServisFirst Bank. In 1985, Mr. Broughton founded the de novo First Commercial Bank and was named president. When First Commercial Bank was bought by Synovus in 1992, he continued as president and was named CEO of First Commercial Bank. While with Synovus, he served as regional CEO. In 2005, Mr. Broughton founded ServisFirst Bank raising $35 million in capital. Today, he serves as chair of the board, president and CEO. He also founded and organized the formation of ServisFirst Bancshares, Inc., the bank holding company that holds ServisFirst Bank as its subsidiary. Mr. Broughton led the ServisFirst Bancshares’ IPO in May 2014. In 2009, American Banker named him “Community Banker of the Year.”

David Findlay is the president and CEO of Lake City Bank., headquartered in Warsaw, Indiana. Mr. Findlay serves as a member of the board of directors of both the bank and the holding company. Lakeland Financial Corporation is a publicly traded bank holding company with total assets of $6.6 billion and 52 offices located throughout Northern and Central Indiana. From September 2010 to April 2014, Mr. Findlay served as president and CFO of the company.

Mr. Findlay joined the company as executive vice president of administration and CFO in September 2000. From March 1995 to September 2000, he served in various capacities with Quality Dining, Inc., a publicly traded restaurant company located in South Bend, Indiana. Mr. Findlay began his career with The Northern Trust Company in Chicago, Illinois, serving in several capacities from September 1984 until March 1995 in the company’s commercial banking department.

Ja Hillebrand is chair and CEO of Stock Yards Bank & Trust Co. Mr. Hillebrand joined Stock Yards Bank & Trust Co. in 1996 to develop the private banking group for the company. He led the bank’s expansion into the Indianapolis market in 2003, and in 2007, he led the bank’s expansion into the Cincinnati/Northern KY market and supervised the bank’s retail brokerage division. Mr. Hillebrand served as executive vice president and director of private banking until 2008. In 2008, he was appointed to the company’s board of directors and named president. In 2018, he became CEO; additionally, in 2021, he assumed the role of chair of the board.

Prior to joining Stock Yards Bank & Trust Co., Mr. Hillebrand was with a regional bank and a community bank, where he specialized in private banking.

Kara Baldwin is a partner at Crowe LLP and currently leads the financial services audit practice.  She has more than 20 years of experience serving financial institutions.  Ms. Baldwin works with publicly held banks, private banks and bank holding companies ranging in size from $50 million to nearly $20 billion in assets.  She has assisted clients in executing numerous business combinations over the years, with a focus on the accounting, auditing and reporting of these transactions including SEC reporting requirements.  Ms. Baldwin serves on various committees of the Center for Audit Quality, is active in the accounting advisory group at Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and is a frequent speaker with the Indiana Bankers Association.
