Matt Petrik is the director of FX payments at Derivative Path. Mr. Petrik is a visionary leader in the world of foreign exchange and cross-border payments. With a career spanning over 20 years at Wells Fargo, Mr. Petrik has been at the forefront of digital transformation and innovation in the banking sector. His tenure at Wells Fargo saw him leading the Business Development for Gateway APIs/Open Banking, a key initiative in modernizing the bank’s FX Payment Solutions. His role was instrumental in the integration of advanced technologies, including a suite of APIs that revolutionized customer banking experiences.

Before joining Derivative Path in July 2022, Mr. Petrik was a vital part of the leadership team at Wells Fargo FX Payment Solutions and Sales. Here, he made significant contributions to the development of their flagship product, Foreign Exchange Online, and other key FX solutions. His strategic initiatives in product enhancement, like the introduction of streaming rates and the development of a new platform for static rates, underscore his commitment to innovation and customer-centric solutions.

Ron Zimmerman is SVP and director of deposit operations and automation at FirstBank, creating significant efficiencies through automation and workflow across the bank footprint. Mr. Zimmerman began his banking career 18 years ago, as a senior systems engineer with Legacy Lydian Private Bank managing the bank’s core banking system. At Legacy Sabadell Bank, he managed the bank’s payment operations team, which included wires, check/items processing, electronic banking, etc., as the VP of payments and electronic banking. At Legacy IBERIABANK, as a business analyst, Mr. Zimmerman managed a team focused on process improvements, automations and efficiencies within the bank operations department. With First Horizon Bank, he managed an RPA team transforming processes by analyzing and implementing efficiencies through automation.
