Charlie Wright is the chief risk officer at Jack Henry, a leading SaaS provider of technology solutions primarily for the financial services industry. In this role, he oversees information and cybersecurity, enterprise risk management, internal audit, travel, regulatory and compliance, enterprise continuity, occupational risk, third party risk and asset protection functions.
Prior to joining Jack Henry, Mr. Wright was the national leader of BKD’s enterprise risk management practice. He has also served as vice president of internal audit at Devon Energy and general auditor at American Airlines. With more than 35 years of experience in financial services, energy, airlines and public accounting, Mr. Wright brings significant risk management depth and breadth to the organization. Mr. Wright also served as chairman on the global board of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) in 2022. With more than 220,000 members in 170 countries, the organization provides training, certifications, standards, guidance, and professional development opportunities to internal audit professionals around the globe. He is a founding board member of Connexion, a company that funds small businesses in international locations to empower local people and create self-sustaining employment.
