Why should I have attended the Acquire or Be Acquired Conference?
Bank Director’s Acquire or Be Acquired Conference has been widely regarded as the financial industry’s premier M&A and growth event since 1995.  Both bankers and financial executives have attended the Acquire or Be Acquired Conference for the past 19 years to get advice from knowledgeable speakers through no-nonsense interactive sessions that help them explore a variety of growth options.  Year after year, this conference addresses the most critical and timely issues facing banks.

How much did this conference cost and what did this fee cover?
The standard individual registration rate was $1,795.  This fee included all conference activities, materials, meals, and beverages at the event site.  This price doid not include travel or hotel accommodations.

How could I have paid?
Payments were accepted by check, VISA, MasterCard, AmericanExpress or Discover.  Checks were made payable to DirectorCorps, Inc., and included the attendees’ name(s) and/or a copy of the registration form, and mailed to the address below.

What if I needed to cancel my reservation at the conference?
Due to commitments and expenses, all cancellations after December 16, 2014 were subject to a $150 processing fee.  We regret that no refunds were given after January 16, 2015; however, substitute participants were welcomed.  Bank Director assumed no liability for any nonrefundable travel, hotel, or related expenses incurred by registrants.  For more information regarding refunds, concerns and/or program cancellation policies, please contact our events department at (877) 397-7595.

Where could I have found more hotel information?

Was there a guest program?
Yes, we did have a guest program.  The standard guest fee was $295 and included Sunday lunch and all receptions.  Your guest could not attend sessions.  If a guest would have liked to attend sessions, they had to register as an attendee. 

The guest program fee did not include participation in Tuesday’s golf tournament.  Guests interested in playing with attendees in either of the tournaments could sign up based on space availability.  The green fee was $205 and includes boxed lunch; however, it did not include rental clubs or other expenses. 

Attendees and their guests could have received a 10% discount at The Phoenician’s Spa.  Simply mentioning “Bank Director” when making their treatment reservations.

How could I have signed up for the golf tournament on Tuesday, January 28?
To enroll in the golf tournament, you could have contacted the Bank Director conference department by calling (877) 397-7595 or emailing [email protected].  The green fee was waived for the first 85 attendees who registered.  Golf clubs could have been reserved for $65.00 + tax and golf shoes could be reserved for $20.00 + tax.

Was CLE or CPE credit available for this conference?
State CLE Accreditation for each conference is based on individual attendee requests.  Credit hours may vary by state.  Credit hours are not guaranteed.  All CLE requests must be received prior to the event. Please contact Bank Director at 877-397-7595 or [email protected].  Many states have minimum deadlines for applications or credits may be denied, so requests should be submitted to us in a timely manner.  Requests received at or following the event for states not previously submitted for credit may not be processed.  You may, however, be eligible for credit hours by applying to your state on an individual basis where applicable.  Please contact your state bar for more information.  Visit their website for more information.

DirectorCorps, Inc., the parent company of Bank Director, is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors.  State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.

All of Bank Director’s education programs are classified as “Basic” program level with no pre-requisites or advance preparation required for participation in these events.  All events fall under “Group-Live” delivery method.  At the event, attendees will be required to keep a time sheet and attendance at sessions will be monitored in order for attendees’ to receive the appropriate number of credits and a certificate of completion following the event.
