What if I need to cancel my reservation at the conference? 
Due to commitments and expenses, all cancellations after September 28, 2015 will be subject to a $150 processing fee.  We regret that no refunds will be given after October 19, 2015; however, substitute participants were welcomed.  DirectorCorps, Inc. assumes no liability for any nonrefundable travel, hotel or related expenses incurred by registrants.

Can I bring a guest?
Yes, we do have a guest program.  The guest fee is $100 and includes all evening cocktail receptions and breakfast on Tuesday and Wednesday during the event.  Guests can not attend sessions.  If a guest would like to attend sessions, they must register as an attendee.  To register guests, attendees should enter that information when completing their registration form or by calling (877) 397-7595 if they are already registered and need to add a guest.

What is the recommended attire for this conference?
Business casual is recommended for all Bank Director events unless otherwise noted.

Is HR credit available for this conference? 
Bank Director is recognized by SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) to offer Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for the SHRM-CPSM or SHRM-SCPSM.  
Bank Director follows the SHRM methodology to award the appropriate number of PDCs for individual offerings, e.g. 1 hour education program equals 1 PDC.  For this year’s event, Human Resources Officers may receive up to 5 PDCs for the Bank Compensation & Governance Committees Peer Exchanges and up to 10.5 PDCs for attending the Bank Executive & Board Compensation Conference.   Attendees requesting credit will receive a certificate of attendance via email following the event. 

Is CLE or CPE credit available for this conference?
CLE:  State CLE Accreditation for each conference is based on individual attendee requests.  Credit hours may vary by state.  Credit hours are not guaranteed.  All CLE requests must be received prior to the event.  Please contact Bank Director at (877) 397-7595 or [email protected].

Many states have minimum deadlines for applications or credits may be denied, so requests should be submitted to us in a timely manner.  Requests received at or following the event for states not previously submitted for credit may not be processed.  You may, however, be eligible for credit hours by applying to your state on an individual basis where applicable, in which case Bank Director will provide you with any necessary supporting documentation.

CPE:  DirectorCorps, Inc., the parent company of Bank Director, is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA), as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors.  State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.  Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website:  www.learningmarket.org.

All of Bank Director’s education programs are classified as “Basic” program level with no pre-requisites or advance preparation required for participation in these events.  All events fall under “Group-Live” delivery method.  At the event, attendees will be required to keep a time sheet and attendance at sessions will be monitored in order for attendees’ to receive the appropriate number of credits and a certificate of completion following the event.
