Who should attend the Bank Compensation & Talent Conference?
Bank directors, including but not limited to a bank’s compensation committee chairs, compensation committee members, nominating/governance chairs and nominating/governance committee members, as well as human resources officers, chief people officers, chief executive officers, chairs of the board, presidents, chief financial officers, general counsel, chief administrative officers, corporate secretaries and senior management.

Why should I attend the Bank Compensation & Talent Conference in 2020?
This is a must-attend event for a bank’s compensation committee members, nominating/governance committee members, human resources officers and senior management responsible for setting compensation plans and standards. Respected advisers and financial leaders provide legitimate, practical approaches to help bank boards and executive teams tackle critical issues including compensation plans, attracting talent, developing existing talent, succession planning and much more!

How much does the conference cost and what does the fee cover?
There is an early individual registration rate of $1,395 that expires July 17, 2020. Payment must be received by offer expiration in order to receive special rate. After all early rates expire, the standard individual registration rate is $1,695. This fee includes all conference activities, materials and meals at the event site. This price does not include travel or hotel accommodations.

What if I needed to cancel my reservation at the conference?
Due to commitments and expenses, all cancellations after September 17, 2020 will be subject to a $200 processing fee. We regret that no refunds will be given after October 14, 2020; however, substitute participants are welcomed. DirectorCorps, Inc. assumes no liability for any nonrefundable travel, hotel or related expenses incurred by registrants.

Where can I find more hotel information?
There is a discounted hotel room rate available for Bank Compensation & Talent Conference attendees at the Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas until Monday, October 19, 2020 or until all rooms are reserved. To reserve a room, please contact the hotel directly at 972-717-0700 and mention “Bank Director” to receive the discounted rate of $280/night for a king room. Rooms are limited, so book early!

May guests attend the event?
The guest rate of $100 covers breakfast on Monday and Tuesday, as well as all evening receptions. Guests are not allowed to attend sessions. If a guest would like to attend the sessions, please register them as an attendee. A guest is a spouse, significant other or friend who is not in a financial services occupation. A co-worker (even a spouse co-worker) or an associate within the financial services industry is not considered a guest and should register as an attendee.

What is the recommended attire for this conference?
Business casual is recommended for all Bank Director events unless otherwise noted.

Is CPE credit available for this conference?
CPE: DirectorCorps, Inc., the parent company of Bank Director, is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA), as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.nasbaregistry.org.

All of Bank Director’s education programs are classified as “Basic” program level with no pre-requisites or advance preparation required for participation in these events. This event falls under “Group-Live” delivery method. At the event, attendees will be required to keep a time sheet and attendance at sessions will be monitored in order for attendees to receive the appropriate number of credits and a certificate of completion following the event.
