Bank Chairman/CEO Peer Exchange
April 16-17, 2012
Bank Director's third annual Bank Chairman/CEO Peer Exchange included Bank CEOs, Chairmen of the Board and Lead Directors from financial institutions across the country. Throughout the 2-day event, attendees met in closed-door, off-the-record peer groups for candid discussions centered around Risk, Growth and other challenges facing bank boards.
The event also included panel sessions with valuable counseling from some respected financial services advisers on topics like risk oversight, management succession, responding to the changing industry landscape, and managing the regulators and keys to a productive CEO-board relationship.
Bank Chairman/CEO Peer Exchange provided an in-depth discussion of critical, and sometimes sensitive, issues. Participants had the opportunity to share best practices with their peers, allowing everyone to take away ideas and tools needed to more effectively lead their bank’s board.
The 2012 Peer Exchange Included:
- Peer group sessions from a mix of banks from across the country and of various asset sizes.
- Success stories from high performance banks.
- An exchange of ideas were taken away on new initiatives to improve board performance.
- Interaction with respected industry advisers allowed attendees to gain valuable insights and suggestions.
