In today’s more complex and transparent governance world, the relationship between executive management and the board, coupled with their ability to provide board leadership, is critical to maximizing a company’s chance of success. A bank’s CEO/chairman/lead director team is charged with driving bottom line performance and enhancing shareholder value. The effectiveness of the team relationship can often be the difference between an average performer and a great community bank that rewards its investors with high returns.

The Bank Chairman/CEO Peer Exchange is based largely upon peer interaction. Throughout the 2-day event, attendees will have several opportunities to meet in closed-door, off-the-record peer groups for a candid discussion of challenges and solutions. The event will also include panel sessions with valuable counseling from some respected financial services advisers on topics like strategic planning, managing risk, and board structure.

Why You Should Attend:

The implications of earning asset mix, funding mix, and capital leverage will be analyzed in the context of impact on Return on Assets and Return on Equity. A detailed assessment of the factors driving current valuation levels and the implications for accessing capital in the public or private markets. In addition, factors and milestones for a return to normalized market and control valuation levels can be covered.
  • Compensation Review: Blanchard Chase LLC will provide a synopsis of the competitiveness of your bank's compensation packages for your independent Chairman or Lead Director, as well as board compensation levels, including retainers, meeting fees, and equity compensation.
