Bank Director magazine and NASDAQ OMX held the 3rd Annual Bank Audit Committee Conference June 11 – 12, 2009, at the Marriott Chicago Downtown in Chicago, IL.

Pre-Conference Audit Committee Primer
The Primer was led by Larry Schwartz, a Certified Public Accountant, and Pat Langiotti, a registered Professional Management Consultant. Both Larry and Pat are experienced bank directors and audit committee chairpersons, with hands-on experience with large, public companies; smaller, private companies, and with many nonprofit boards. Larry and Pat provided an interactive learning environment where audience participation was encouraged and all questions were welcomed. Topics included:

- Characteristics of a High Performing Audit Committee
- Overview of Primary Duties and Responsibilities of the Audit Committee
